A Shovel is Bought

Newly bought shovel (and acquired sand)

An exciting day, we purchased a new shovel!  We have a selection of new signs (yes, more signs) to install.  We sorted through these today to see exactly what we have and they are not quite what we expected, but then we also expected that to be the case, so perhaps they were.  The shovel will be needed to dig some holes to get some of the posts in place to hold these and other signs.  Next we need to find out if Pastor Shirley (yes the local pastor at the ‘Church of God of Prophecy’) has any cement for sale.

Nice pic, Fraser! Is it very humid where you are? If it is, the cement will be more like a piece of stone in the bag…..

No it isn’t humid but you are right we have been told it maybe like a piece of stone in the bag. It depends how long it has been hanging around and whether or not it has got rained on I suppose. We should add that the sand did not come from the beach as the government don’t like you taking sand off the beach.
