Solar continues slowly

Inverter and switches in the loft

Following the scaffolding it was day one of the installation; it wasn’t quite to plan.  We have no panels at present as the person to put them on the roof didn’t arrive.  Meanwhile we have an inverter, cable and isolation switches.  The inverter turns the DC output from the panels into AC to feed into the electricity supply for the house and thus out into the big wide world beyond.  This box of electronics is up in the loft, thus out of the way: the cable leads to the front door where our supply comes into the house.

Hopefully panels will start going on the roof tomorrow, there is little left to do until these are fitted.
