High House Autumn

Boundary trees, almost devoid of leaves

Autumn leaves on a lime tree

A trip to High House Farm Brewery this afternoon gave us a chance to have a short walk in the beautiful autumn sunshine.  Clear blue skies today but while the sun still has some warmth, as soon as it goes the temperature drops.  The low evening sun gave a wonderful warm light and yet the dampness stripped a little of that warmth away again.  There was time for a quick drink at the brewery before the return home.

Water droplets on the grass glisten in the sun
