Path Head Mill and sheep counting

Path Head Mill

Today was the AGM of the North East Mills Group and we were all at Path Head Watermill in Blaydon to enjoy the site in the November sunshine.  Duncan had a short talk to give on the salt industry of the Turks and Caicos Islands, the start of a batch of talks on last year’s excursion.

Counting sheep in the late evening sun

Following the meeting it was a call in at Prestwick Carr to check on the Flexigraze sheep and ponies.  The sun was setting as we battled through the rushy pasture trying to count sheep in amongst the tall vegetation!
